Hi everyone!
I need help! I don´t know where I want to go. I am between NU, Duke and Berkeley.
I got accepted in all of them so now I only have to decide. I am an international student and I will be going with an athletic scholarship.
My first option is Duke not only because I think academically is the best but also because the athletic program is amazing!
My only problem is that I like going out and exploring the city and I am a bit worry that the following four years will be boring.
I want to study Political Science or Sociology and French.
Please tell me what you think!
thanks

DUUUUKE

its right around durham, which is a huge city :)

berkeley is going broke unfort, and duke > northwestern. so yep :)

A. Each of those college’s respective forums is going to tell you their school is the best. That said, Duke is the best.

B. How the heck have you already been accepted to Duke?!?

I got an offer now is a up to me to decide where to go. Duke has a big athletic department so that may be the answer to your question

Iwantivies What do you mean by berkeley is going broke? Are you real?

The UC system as a whole is going broke @ solundecided.

I visited both Duke and Northwestern, and I’d have to say DUKE DUKE DUKE!

I know the athletics dept. at Berkeley is going to see some serious cuts come 2012, so I would go to Duke. The surrounding area isn’t tremendous but it’s fine.

Oh my God. Has the decisions of these 3 schools come out? Or you have applied last year?

he’s international; they generally figure that stuff out before, i think.

yeah go to duke! great weather, gorgeous location, better than northwestern. the state of california is going to see some huge budget cuts; it’s just not worth the cost.

I still dont get it. How did you get your decisions so early?

No he’s a liar and a ■■■■■. He hasn’t been accepted anywhere yet.

I’m International also (Canada), and we get our decisions the same day and time as you guys in the USA.

He is a recruited athlete. There are HS juniors that have already been “accepted” to Duke. Unlike ivy (likely letters), ACC schools don’t have to wait to lock up their recruits. It is reasonable that he has legitimate offers from all of these schools. Frankly, he’s probably had them in hand for some time.
To the OP: DUKE

Yep, that’s pretty likely. A person from my school got into Columbia for lacrosse in September.
