Can anyone compare these 2 schools for undergraduate preparation for medical school? NW with loans, or Vanderbilt with merit aid?

Thank you!

Anyone? Thanks!

Can anyone talk about the pre-med courses at these 2 schools? Do they prepare you equally? Northwestern is more $, is it worth it? Thanks!

Hi LF,

I think you're not getting many responses because very few students on these boards know anything.

1.) Vanderbilt's Pre-health advising site seems pretty good, but their "track record" information is fairly lacking. They seem to indicate that they have roughly a 70% admissions rate for seniors and-one-gap-year candidates, a number that is well in line with many strong schools.

2.) Vanderbilt has a medical center on campus. This is not by any means mandatory, but it does make getting internships and such easier.

Ultimately, I doubt the gap is that large. Does one school feel, to you, like it produces better doctors, in the future?
