Even you get an email about financial aid through the admissions office email, it still doesn’t mean they are connected. This happened to me at two different schools and when I hit “reply” to ask a clarifying question, they said that actually they are separate offices, but for streamlining purposes, they use the admissions email address.
Also, if you know you’re not eligible for FA, you do not need to waste your time filling it out.
@uni123456789 and @graciec1999 if you aren’t going to apply for any financial aid then you don’t need to file any docs like the FAFSA or CSS. The schools are more than happy to take you at full pay. However, if you apply for any merit scholarships (university level or private) that are partly (or fully) need-based then you might need to file them (e.g. you may be initially evaluated on your merit then final decisions for total amount are made on who has the most need) and those scholarship sponsors may want your FAFSA or at the least, tax documents, to prove income status.
In 2015 (class of 2019) decisions came out on Monday March 23 so this could either mean a.) they may release results earlier in the week, or b.) they’ll wait until this Friday which is also 23 anyway
@IntApp2022 I couldn’t find it. I’m sorry. I know it was 3/21 though. Maybe it “used to be posted” as 3/21 and then was changed to late March? My daughter withdrew because she got her first choice and second choice offers, but I saw it a while back. Positive.
I think we can try calling as much as we want, but they still won’t tell us. Honestly, this is driving me nuts, so I’m just gonna hang tight bc it’s clear they’re not too eager to give us any info.
