Hello! I am trying to transfer into Northwestern from a CA community college. It is one of the best community colleges in the country (idk if that matters) and I have a 3.9 college gpa. I have gotten an A in everything except math. I want to get in to the School of Education and Social Policy. I think I have a lot of great experience to exemplify my interest in the field of education reform. Does anyone know about this school specifically and how hard it is to transfer in? Thanks for any help!
D1’s app to SESP as an incoming freshman was denied last year. During our visit there the dean was forthcoming with the numbers: SESP admits between 50-70 but graduates 125+. My impression was that it gains students through internal transfers from the other NW undergrad schools (one of the kids at our info session was in fact a current NW student). But maybe it takes external transfers too? Good luck!
