HOTTEST BIG 10 SCHOOL
Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.
With six undergraduate schools, Northwestern attracts budding actors, journalists, engineers and teachersalong with plenty of liberal-arts students still unsure of their major. Each school has a national reputation and draws students from all over the country. Some standouts: the Medill School of Journalism, the School of Communication (which includes the drama and thea-ter program) and the engineering school, which is a center of research in nanotechnology. When they're not studying, Northwestern students can take in Wildcats football or head into Chicago, which is at the doorstep of the Evanston campus.

yeah! i agree...NU is defenitely the hottest big ten school out there. UMich people would disagree but i love wildcats!

academically, the only other comparison to NU is UMich. being the 'hottest big ten' school shouldn't invoke that much pride... unless you're talking sports... then that would be awesome.

the sad thing will be seeing ohio state football/ basketball go for the titles in both :-/

At least NU is no longer the laughingstock in sports. This year, we are Big10 champ in lax, sofball, w tennis, and m golf; our football team went to the bowl and actually made things interesting in the league; the baseball team is currently first in the league standings. Our athletes did all that while having almost the highest average SAT (second to Stanford according to stats last available) among all Div-1 teams.

Too bad we lost Brent Bassanez. i.e. - the Northwestern offense

Basanez was overrated.
