Northwestern U chance me ED

Hi, I am applying to Northwestern for ED as a journalism major at the Medill School. I am on the low spectrum of applicants, but there’s always hope! NU is my first choice school, I toured campus and I plan on conducting an admissions interview.

What do you think?

Also, I am hispanic, first generation college student, middle class for my geographic region (~60k a year and S.FL). My school and community does not offer journalism opportunities for high schoolers and my school will NOT allow me to start a publication. I have ~140 community service hours and it keeps going up. I received my AICE Diploma with Merit, second highest level you could receive.
