Northwestern University chances.

Let me start off by saying that northwestern is my reach school. I just need to know how much a reach it is. I am currently ranked 53 out of 670 students and have a 4.4/3.4 gpa. I have a 31 on the act and a 2000 on the sat. These scores may fluctuate as I can take each test twice more before applying. I am a member of the coral springs fire explorers where I recieve training in fire fighting and were allowed to ride along with the fire department. I have 23 ride alongs, each being 12 hours long and have received hundreds of hours in hands on medical experience. There was also an in school class given by the fire academy in which we recieved our fire fighter 1 certification. Along side the fire program I also took an emt course where I was certified in emt 1 and volunteered at the local hospital, through the program and both being pioneer programs for the state. I competed in bpa, on the computer animation team and made it to nationals. I played varsity baseball for 4 years and was the team captain my senior year. Lastly i formed a gaming club at the high school were I taught students how to build their own computers to save them money. I hope that is enough information to help me out. If you have any recommendations on how to increase my chances please do tell. Also if you recommend any me applying to any other schools that would be nice as well. Thank you all so much!!!

In addition I plan on writing a witty essay as it is my reach school.

NU has an acceptance rate of 12.9% last year. Your GPA is likely a bit below the mid 50 for admission and you ACT is near the low end of mid 50. Unless you have a hook, your chance is not very good with current stat.
