My essays were very strong. I didn't tout my accomplishments, I simply highlighted the type of person I am. For the Northwestern Statement I straight up told them that it's my number one choice and it's the school I will go to if I get the opportunity. I also did a bit of name-dropping, my cousin is a successful alumnus from the University and I've talked to him a lot about it.

I asked my English teacher/NHS Adviser for a recommendation; he let me read it and it was absolutely stellar.

I have an interview scheduled in January which I think will go well. I've expressed a lot of interest. I've gone to an information session near my house and I've traveled to Evanston to check it out and take a tour. I absolutely love it.
