No one knows I think. Last year was 5 pm central so 6 pm eastern.
Itâs out everyone
How did you do?
I got in!!!
I got deferred, does Northwestern deffer a lot of applicants?
DD got in!
DS is in! So thrilled!
Who is DD?
Who is DS?
Yes. About 70% of ED applicants are deferred if not outright rejected or accepted.
That is just lingo for dear daughter and dear son
Got it. New here and hence havenât caught up with or familiar with acronyms. Much appreciated. Thanks. Also, congrats!
Stats please!!!
Deferred
You are everywhere. Are you building a database with stats? Planing to start something which you can then sell? Or is it for curiosity?
Accepted today. Stats:
1560/35, 4.0U/4.8W (IBDP, 5 extra AP classes)
Above average ECs (Leadership, eagle scout, research)
Great recs (one from research PI), Great essays
I would love to know stats too. My daughter does not want to find out tonight in case it isnât good news. So excited/worried/thrilled/terrified for her!
i have two seniors. I am tracking stats on schools they have applied to (RD). And in general, "I got acceptedâ and âRejectedâ is no use to anyone if thereâs no data. People look back at these threads for years trying to decide if and how to apply. Posting stats is for the greater good of the community.
DS Accepted, ACT 35, unweighted GPA 3.8, five APs previously taken (44555) with four more enrolled, decent ECs (robotics, school leadership, school awards, serious research, social justice, lgbtq leadership), long history of a specific niche academic scientific interest, amazingly talented writer with great essays.
Got it. Makes sense. Thank you and good luck with the seniors!
