I have gotten into both of these schools, and I was wondering, as a prospective Environmental Science /Pre-med student, which school would be a better choice. I hear that Cornell generally has a better science department, but I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks for the feedback!

why don't you go to Cornell, i hear it has a subway on campus

Cornell has better ranked science departments in general (chemistry ranked the same) but NU has a slightly higher med school placement rate.

It's hard to beat NU's over 80% med school acceptance rate. Ithaca is a boring town and if you think the weather is bad in the Midwest, you should try upstate NY. I'm accepted to Cornell as well and I'd say choose NU.

I knew a student who transferred to Cornell and someone who transferred from Cornell to NU.

This really comes down to what you prefer - easy access to major city (and Evanston isn't oo shabby either - great restaurants) or the whole "college town in the boonies" atmosphere, major conference sports v. Ivy League.
