True but if you search by new and use the keyword “waitlist”, people seem to be posting updates on the general thread. So far, I’ve seen movement posts of NYU and Cornell today.

The students that I know that specifically got off waitlists in years past did not know until June.

Ugh, was hoping for this week, but not expecting it. 
someone on last year’s thread said that the second monday of may is when nu typically starts contacting people. cant bother to check the accuracy of it but there’s that, i guess
me too haha; this girl on youtube got accepted off of princeton’s waitlist like may 4th (last year, obviously) so i was hoping the first week of may was the standard or something. but i guess not
OMGG I WATCHED HER VID TOO! But she also got off Columbia’s waitlist May 30th, so you never know what’s going to happen with this sort of thing!

My friend just got off the NW waitlist today

They emailed him saying they want to have a phone call regarding his status on the waitlist, and then he was told he got off of it.
