Northwestern

I am submitting the Northwestern application, but the preview puts my Analytical Writing (out of 6) section in the Analytical section (out of 800). I have checked, and I think it is something wrong with the system. But I have to submit tonight to get my appID to give to my letter service. Should I just leave it as is and hope the admissions committee can figure it out?

hi, i encountered the same problem. Actually when i tried the print-out function in the application site, it worked perfectly ok. But right before my submission, the preview gave me something wrong. the section for phone numbers seemed a bit confusing to me, too.

But i guess we dont have to worry about the section of GRE analytical writing/ Analytical. Who do analytical these days? (if i am not wrong, it was abandoned in 2002/2003) i think the Committee people are surely smart to figure that out even if it doesnt appear right at first glance.

BTW, what's the appID? I submitted my application online and doesnt seem to have this. Does it matter much if i choose to have my professors submit their rec letters online?

Yeah, the Analytical section was abandoned.

I think the AppID comes after you submit your application. I don't think you need it if your letter writers are using the online form. But you might need it to check the status of your application:
