Hey guys,

I have a few questions for people who go to/have gone to Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY.

  1. Do academics or athletics come first?
  2. Are the academics there comparable to other major boarding schools?
  3. What is it like living there?
  4. What do you do on weekends? What are cool things to do in the town?

I do believe I heard that the former Head of School at Berkshire, Mike Maher, will be taking over as HOS at North Woods in the fall. He really transformed Berkshire during his tenure, so I expect there will be some big changes coming to North Woods as well.
