Ok, so if you know me from school, over the past 3 and a half years, you've probably gotten to know me as the biggest slacker. Period. I never do work in school, actually, put it this way, i rarely show up. I really didn't give a rip about going to college. I heard my friends complaining about the SAT's, and I was just like, screw this, how hard could it be, its a fricken test. So I signed up for it and took it. Anyways, will colleges give me a chance?? to prove that I can be a good student because I'm obviously not dumb, and I have just slacked off??? After getting my sat scores I looked up some colleges and their SAT scores, I destroy all of them, but I'm sure they will take into consideration my academic record. Anyways....

SAT
Math:800
English:800
English again?:780

GPA in school is officially a: 0.12 (I've failed every class except health and PE in 9th and 10th grade and only pass each grade level because of summer school...grades don't change though)

Rank: 332/332

I know...i f**Ed up...but I want another chance..because obviously i'm smart...i see you kids in this forum who wanna go to like Princeton get like..lower SAt scores...

anyways...i see some of you guys list activities...honestly...the only activity I do outside of school..is play computer games....so yea...im a special case..but any help is appreciated...can i actually go to a good college like my sat scores suggest?...cause apparently everyone i've talked to said with SAT scores like mine..i can go anywhere...

0.12? SAT scores won't cover that. Not even if you had a 2.0

You obviously didn't look over this forum too in depth, being smart wouldn't land someone in a top college even when they had the high grades.

You -CAN- go anywhere with those SAT scores, your GPA just won't meet the minimum requirement for any college you try to apply to.

I strongly suggest you to keep pursuing education.
Go to a community college, transfer to the state university, do really well there, then get into a top graduate school.

ok...so i just found out that they have sat tests for like specific subjects....since im really damn good at taking these tests..what if i take them for subjects I failed in school like history and science..and score like i did on math and the two english sections??...will that maybe allow me to go somewhere other then the local CC??

oh..and after doing some research about the university of virginia...on the college board site..i saw that it says "we don't have a minimum GPA"...does that mean I at least have a shot there???...since they don't have a minimum??...

you are either the most lazy, sloppy, inconsistent person ever or you are pulling our legs bc it is nearly impossible to get a 0.12 You have to TRY to fail every class to do that bad. So my point is, I really doubt that this is a legit chance thread and you should just stop posting anything. Seeing that you are a new member, you may be just using a fake username, inserting a fake thread, then tricking everyone. Well, it's not funny.

Oh, and if I'm wrong, then my deepest apologies.

If you are a slacker in high school, what makes you think that you would want to experience the rigor of a high institution? You know--where you would actually have to spend money to have yourself worked to the bone? They can easily see that you are just freakishly good at tests, but ultimately a slacker who hasn't proved him/herself in school whatsoever...What would they have to gain from accepting you?

I slacked off to the max. My GPA was 3.3UW 3.5W. I hardly did any work at all and I just came in a took tests to great effect. Never studied, did homework, or took notes. I'd just bring a book or crossword to class and wait until there was a debate or something that was interesting. This has to be a joke topic not only is it impossible to get that low even with minimal effort but with minimal intellect. But you seem to have a lot of processing power given your scores which would suggest this is an impossibility.
