Okay, this is probably another Essay thread, but if you're here already, why don't you use some of your time to help a desperate student in need? :)

So here's how it goes: I seriously need to get 2000+ in the May trial. I got 1900 already with 8 as the score of the essay (650 W). If I manage to get 10 or 11, I believe, I might be able to cross the 2000 score without even increasing my scores in the other branches, right?

What do I do? I believe 8 is just not enough for me, how am I supposed to prepare? What am I supposed to change?

Comprehensive replies are more than appreciated. Pictures of my 8-scoring-essay are available.

Thanks for reading this,
One dude who, apparently, lacks good writing skills.

Really, if you can write an essay that fills up most of the space, uses specific and relevant examples, and has a strong conclusion/thesis, you will do well on the essay. It’s not as hard as it sounds, though it may take practice.

Also, don’t count on a 10 essay pushing up your grade THAT much. You’ll still need to dedicate a bit of time to the other sections if you want to bring it up to 2000+.

Well I’ve read that 12 Essay in just 10 days before and I don’t think it had helped me that much. About the other thread though, do you think that if I had complied a list of examples serving all these topics, I’d never be surprised on the test day? Or at least, will I decrease my chances of being surprised? Will that help my essay score?

And yeah, about depending on the essay, I do believe that I can get myself above 2000 with just increasing the essay score since I only need a 100 points or so. Of course I’ll work on the other branches as well, but I was just noting why the Essay part has become very important to me.
