Not asking for financial aid!!!!!!!!!!!

When filing my applications I will not be applying for aid, does that help in the process of beginning accepted.

depends on if it is a need blind school or not.

if yes, then there is no difference. If it isn't needblind, they may weight your application accordingly.

edit: i don't think it will ever be a deciding factor though

what is a need blind school???

Need blind meand your needing financial aid is not a factor in the admissions process.

Unless you are a true developmental admit, the ability to pay your way only carries weight at the end of the application process when money is low and there are 2 similiarly qualified applicants. However it does not trump the other factors that get you admitted (grades, sores, ec's, rec, essays)

I'd have to diasgree. I saw your list of CA privates on another post, and ability to pay is very important at most of your schools.

zagat..

Thanks for the info I'm feeling better.

Dunno but uh... think you could float me a few thousand dollars? you know, just for the next four years or so...
