Not driving senior year?

I lived outside of my school’s “zone,” because when I moved within the same county I didn’t want to have to transfer to a new school where I didn’t know anyone. The rules allowed me to stay, but didn’t allow me to take the bus. For the rest of sophomore year after I moved, my mother had to drive me to and from school.

So, it was a huge improvement when I was able to drive to school, especially with all the extracurriculars I did (should I list them in my signature, lol). And when I started doing the cross-enrollment thing senior year I absolutely needed to since I sort of switched schools in the middle of the day. I ended up having to pay a lot in gas, but it was worth it.

I should’ve started earlier… Well, I did have my permit long enough and I’m a rising senior, just that I didn’t get enough practice–it’s more of a thing where my parents sometimes decide mornings to go out driving, but I haven’t done so in weeks. My dad retires in September and my mom in the upcoming January, so I’ll have their cars if I do get my license in time.

This thread has wandered off topic and I’ve had to spend too much time cleaning it up, so I’m closing it now.
