<p>I'm not planning on getting an associate's degree before transferring. On the application, after adding my current community college, it asks ""Degree, diploma, or certification received or to be received" and the choices include: associate for transfer (AA-T, AS-T), associates, bachelor's, etc. There is no option for none. Is completing IGETC the same as associate for transfer?</p>

<p>Okay I see what you’re looking at, just hit other then type in IGETC Certification and what the end of your school year is typically May.</p>
<p>IGETC Cert is not the same as an Associates for Transfer.</p>
