Not sending SAT IIs that aren't required

<p>Do I have the option of "score choice" if they are not required by the department for admission?</p>

<p>AKA, if the major I am applying for does not require any SAT II scores, and I happen to have a low score for whatever reason, can I just not send that?</p>

<p>Hi FuturePolymath. Cornell does not participate in Score Choice. It is thus advisable that will sending scores, you SEND ALL your scores. They’d just not use it as a criterion for admission if they don’t require it.</p>

<p>My S had an abysmal writing score for the SAT 1. The other 2 were in line for what COE wanted. Thankfully, they were able to overlook the writing score and he was admitted ED. Don’t overthink this - they see profiles like your all the time!</p>

<p>I called admissions and they said you could pick which SAT II scores to send. I’m not sure if that’s considered score choice if you do that but they said it was fine.</p>
