<p>does anyone know if the letters that Cornell and Yale and all those schools mail us mean anything?</p>
<p>I feel like the schools arent truly interested in the student; theyre just widening their nets....?</p>
<p>Yeah, they really don't. I got a few letters from Harvard and I thought, "They probably send these to everyone who did okay on the PSAT."</p>
<p>Well, they are interested in students who have done well on the PSAT, hence the letter. They don't send them to everyone, if that's what you're concerned about.</p>
