Heyo, I haven’t posted on here for a while but colleges apps are due soon and I want to make sure I’m on the right track
I took Math 2 and Chem in May of my junior year, and I didn’t do badly, but I know my scores aren’t at all impressive/competitive compared to people applying to top schools. I got a 750 on Chem and a 760 on Math 2. In addition, I retook Math 2 and took French this past weekend, but I don’t think I did as well as I could have since I stayed up the entire night studying for French. Then on test day I did French on the 3rd sheet instead of the 2nd which took away time with the proctor talking to me and being distracted the entire time. I didn’t even do the entire last reading passage and after looking at online calculators, I’d be lucky if I got a 650 when I was getting 700+ on practice tests ): My math 2 score can’t be an 800 unless the curve is unusually generous, since I didn’t answer 8, and assuming I didn’t get any wrong, that’s a 790.
So, what do you guys think I should do? Should I retake Math 2 and French (this time with listening) in November in time for RD? I think I’d do much better on French with listening since I did an immersion program in France this summer. I also am not retaking Chem because I took that test at the peak of my Chem knowledge (I had just prepped for the AP exam the Monday before).
