not sure if senior schedule is rigorous enough?

i'm not taking that many classes my senior as opposed to other years
i'm taking:

AP Government/Poli Sci
AP English Lit
Math150A (Calculus I) via community college - fall
Math150B (Calculus II) via community college - spring
Physics

I'm hoping this doesn't affect how i look when i apply? I don't wanna appear as slacking or anything of the sort.
feedback please? thanks

Well, it really depends on what your school offers. To get the most accurate information, you should consider talking to your guidance counselor and asking how she/he would describe your course load on a recommendation (e.g. very rigorous, average, etc.).

looks too light if you were hoping to have a chance of acceptance at a highly selective college. have you taken the most rigorous courses available at your HS? have you taken 3 yrs of FR Language already? Are there no electives you could take?

If you are on some kind of different schedule, like the a block schedule, then it seems fine. If you are just having open periods, then I would say that it looks too light. My school is on the block schedule therefore I have about the same amount of classes as you because APs take a lot of room.

If you are a senior I don’t know what the point of your asking this now as it’s too late to change anything.

The answer, as menloparkmom suggests, really depends on the type of school you are applying as well as what you are doing with the extra time. If you are working full time to start to save for college, that may be understandable, or if you are applying to a program where you have to audition a lot, and also travel to auditions, that may also be excusable. However, at the most selective schools and the Ivies, students that get in manage to take a stronger course load AND juggle other hobbies, sports and music obligations while saving a 3rd world country.
