I applied at UIC with an online application on Sept. 24th and because of a problem with their online system, the application "didn't go through" (their words). I called after a few days because I did not have an Application Status on the website.

They keep telling me it will "be pushed through" and tell me to call back later. Well, after 3 times of calling back the next day or two days after, someone finally figured out that the problem was that the system was not matching up my name with my transcripts.

And that was PARTIALLY fixed after three phone calls and about a week of waiting (They got one of my transcripts onto the online app. but not both). I was told to call back if I didn't receive my UIN number by today, and yet I still got the "call back wednesday" approach. THE DEADLINE IS OCT 15, and because of their inability to correct mistakes, my odds of making it are declining.

Should I call back tomorrow, ignore the admission operator and ask to be transfered to and "admission officer", or actually wait in hopes it will go through?? I'm at a loss here, it's not that I want to **** off everyone at the UIC Admissions office but there are only so many times I can "call back later" before it's too late....

Thanks for all replies, I hope no one else is going through the same problem! This transfer would be huge for me, I was planning on having the decision by mid OCT so my bf and I could plan for the move, but now we'll have to do everything last minute when the decision does finally come........
