Not sure where to apply EA to...

I heard that Harvard recently instated its EA program. I was originally going to do Stanford EA (since my sibling goes there, I feel that that would maximize my chance) but now I'm rethinking Harvard EA. I have decent grades and EC's, so I was wondering: would it be better to do Stanford or Harvard EA? I'd be happy to go to either schools, but Harvard is the asian dream ;)

There’s not really much of an advantage in applying EA other than hearing back early.

But if you must, Stanford EA.

Thanks. Any other opinion? Will Harvard be harder to get in regular because of the early action??

Do Harvard!

You’ll probably have a better chance at Stanford if you already have a family member there.

OK, if I do Stanford EA, and do Harvard regular, do I have a small chance of getting in? Or do you think if I’m a decently qualified candidate that no matter what I have an equal shot of getting in?

Bump  10char

H does not accept ‘decent’ applicants in the EA round, it accepts outstanding candidates that would be accepted in any applicant pool. See the other current thread about EA.
