Not to be a downer, but let's talk about admission revokation!

Ever since I got accepted to IU (I will be attending, 100% positively), I've been increasing my work ethic at school like crazy, because I fear getting my admission revoked.

What do you have to do (or not do, I should say) to get revoked from IU? Is it common? How many people does it happen to?

Any info. appreciated.

I think if you’re staying consistent with the performance that got you in, you can relax. I have only heard of that happening when grades take a serious nose dive or there are discipline issues.

It rarely happens at IU. However, my motivation during senior year was to do well on AP tests so my college life was easier. If your grades slip, it doesn’t matter (unless you qualify for a scholarship, in which case keep the gpa the same).

I had a near perfect first semester of senior year, by the end of it I had 2 C’s. I was fine.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like this is nothing to worry about. (I’m not even doing badly, yet…)
