My highschool sent out my transcript, teacher recommendations, and secondary school packet on Oct 25, and Columbia's online tracker has processed everything except one of the recommendations. How long should I wait until I get worried about it getting processed? I call the admissions office a few days ago and was told that they're still processing information, and my school is certain that both recommendations were sent out.

PS everything else was processed by Nov 1, if that makes a difference

me too! and my teacher mailed it two and a half weeks ago. i figured i would wait another week before calling the admissions office. weird. teacher form A?

That's what mine was-- I just checked today though, and it had been received. Weird.

Also, my secondary school report and transcript were received on October 24th (or close to that date), but now it's saying my SSR is received but my transcript isn't. Ahhhh?!

Sorry, I didn't really explain that well-- I meant at one point the Admissions Tracker said my transcript was received, but now it's saying it hasn't been.

That is exactly the same thing that happened to me! Everything but 1 teacher rec has been recieved/processed, and I know for a fact that both teachers mailed their recs in mid-October.

Alright, it's been 2 and a half weeks now, and everything I sent in is listed as received except for that one teacher recommendation. Should I be worried? I'll probably call Admissions on Monday.

Yeah, they havent recieved/processed my Teacher Rec B either. Dont worry about it too much since it seems like alot of people are in the same situation as you! :P

Uh oh. Called Admissions today, turns out someone lost it somewhere (not sure if I should blame guidance or Columbia at this point), but apparently, faxing it tomorrow is okay. Hopefully that works out :-/

I would love to be able to check the status of my reccomendations, but I haven't gotten a Columbia ID #. I submitted my ED App part II around oct 25th and the Financial on Nov 14th... How long did it take you guys to get your id?

I think the admissions office sends out Columbia ID numbers in batches. I remember awhile back a thread about the IDs, and on the same day, everybody got them. I submitted Part I of my app in early September and received my ID about a month after (that's how long the normal waiting period is supposed to be).

If you're worried, you could just call to get your ID and the status of your application.
