Notebooks vs. Binders

What do you find most convenient taking notes in/writing in?

whichever's easiest for you...

I find binders are good for organizing things, but for class I think notebooks work better because they're not as bulky and easier and more convenient to take notes in.

What about a legal pad? Some people use them.

No matter which you decide, I think it's obvious that this issue is paramount to college life and the wrong decision will, ultimately, take six to twelve years off your life.

And let's not even get started on pens versus mechanical pencils. I once killed a man for telling me I should buy a Sharpie. Jackass.

I love writing with the sharpie pens, though. Even if they smear :(.

Sharpies dry out quickly if you are a hard core student. And, they bleed through the paper.

Yellow number two pencils are my favorite.

I have been thinking of this notebooks v/s/ binder thing for a while. Because, I bought a ton of notebooks for next to nothing at Target.

Still I cannot decide. I am thinking of getting the old school Duo Tang folders for any loose handouts or whathaveyou.

I am the biggest nerd. But, being really organised is important for good grades, eh? My grades for my summer classes are going to be bad (in terms of how I view bad grades), so I am at home thinking of how to make straight A's for the fall. Because I am only going part time in the fall since I went full time all summer.

I foresee the return of the "Which colored pencils do I need???!!" threads.

Colored Pencils?!
