when does everyone think the rest of the regular decision applicants will be notified?

apparently next Thursday the 28th

Wait, have you not heard back? I applied RD and I heard back ages ago. Why are there multiple release dates?

Liz3J5 - no, there are many of us still waiting to hear.

Still waiting - College of Engineering. Much longer and the letter will not matter as we will have then chosen another school.

Same here, USN Chief.

transfer here, still impatiently awaiting.

The acceptances will be released sometime later today. They are spread out over the evening with Mass, NY, NH first with others being released in batched throughout the night. GOOD LUCK!!

@squeegis: really?? did you call? I’m from mass… oh geez crossing fingers

They posted a message on the page where you check acceptances. It says not available and they will email your decision to you. That is what is posted every year on the day the decisions are released.

This was the timeline posted for EA applicants on another thread:

“They are released by region, usually with MA/CT/RI etc released sometime early evening, with NY/PA/MD/NJ released an hour or two later, then moving along to other regions. Don’t freak out if people have gotten theirs and you haven’t. It will come sometime the same night.”

Best of luck to everyone!

Hmmm… it’s weird that there’s more than one release date. I mean, I submitted my application really early, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Anyway, good luck to everyone!! Northeastern was one of my top choices. I got in, with a scholarship, but I still can’t afford to go :(

on the other thread it says that the RD applicants will hear today. apperantly the portals down, so that’s a good sign. I’m at work but when I get home I’m not leaving my lap top!

my page looks totally normal, no decision here today, so dont know whats up with that

A lot of the people who were notified over a month ago were the top applicants, like the two hundred or so people that were accepted into the University Scholars Program

It just seems like so many people got accepted a while back because there’s so many of us floating around here on cc. Good luck everyone!

so for those of us who have not been accepted yet- it sounds like we are not top choice applicants necessarily… does that mean our financial aid packages wont be quite as good?

for merit aid…yes
