I am a student from Germany applying as an international student to Williams College. I just have a little and maybe silly question Does Williams College send you an email notification when they receive your application? I sent mine on October 31st and it should be there by now. But I can't be completely sure and I didn't get such a reply. Thanks for the help.

Good luck with your application everyone. Take care.

In the past, Williams Admission has sent a pale purple postcard acknowledging receipt of a complete application. It seems that it arrived about three to four weeks after my Eph-to-be submitted the Common Application online. But it may be different for international receipt. You may want to email the Admission Office to ask if it doesn't say on the Admission website.

I haven't yet received an e-mail or postcard. On the commonapp website, it says that I applied early decision, and that they downloaded my application and supplement on October 11th. I also know that my school forms, recs, and early decision agreement were sent a while ago. Should I contact the office of admission, or should I just leave it alone because it is a particularly crazy time for them?

Hey, I contacted the Office of Admission yesterday and they told me they received everything they needed. I guess not everybody who submitted the application received an email yet so I wouldn't worry too much. By the way, I didn't apply online but I sent everything filled out by hand. Maybe that's why I didn't receive an email notification.
