I got an e-mail about a month back saying that Williams has received my application. In this e-mail, they said they'd send me an acknowledgment postcard. However, I still haven't gotten a postcard from them yet, or any other sort of response. Should I be worried?

i don't know how this helps but i got mine a week ago and i'm international. It's possible that yours got lost in the mail so maybe you should just ring up the admissions office and verify that they got your application - i wouldn't worry because they already sent you an e-mail.

same problem xxerxes300.
I have nt heard from my ed2 college too (Bates)
Williams is RD.
i am certainly worried and i have sent an email but without replies.

thanks. I'll probably call them tomorrow.

lol the admissions office said it might've been lost in the mail, but I just got my postcard TODAY. That's funny that an international student got theirs before me. Wow. I guess it takes a while for things to get to the middle of the country, or they just don't care about us. I hope I get in, though! That would be sweet.

i think you're fine ayush753, i just got my postcard last week. i wouldn't call them to just ask about the postcard...but i don't know, it's your choice.

Got mine yesterday ages after the email...so they're obviously behind. Also, it was sent to my permanent address rather than my mailing address which was weird. Lucky it was one of the few days I'm at home. Happen to anyone else?

Maybe they were trying to save money as my mailing address is 3000 miles further :-)

i havent received postcard but i have been assured that my app is complete.

I still haven't received a postcard, though I got my verification email in December. Should I call them, or will they get annoyed because I'm bothering them about something as trivial as a postcard?

I never got a verification postcard, so when I got the early write acceptance notification a couple of days ago, I was completely shocked...I wasn't even sure they had gotten everything all right...

EmFi10:

Are you international? (Since you got an email, it seems that you are.) That should suffice for the notification that your app is complete, since the postcard may get lost in the mail and never arrive.

No, I'm from New England. I'm just going to assume it got lost in the mail and if (knock on wood) I do get accepted and need an ID, I'll just call them or something. Thanks though, onemoremom.
