^Well, my son’s was initially via email. The email referred him to his goBaylor account. From this thread, it sounds like different people are finding out in different ways.

I found out I was admitted! I have a 4.2 weighted average, 31 act, and I am also in the top 5% of my class. I will be attending the Hankamer school of business.

^Congratulations, bts1250! Woo hoo!!!

I officially applied on the 5th of November, because that’s when they got my test scores, though they didn’t process them until December! I got accepted (SAT 2210, ACT 35, Rank 1). I was a little surprised I found out already since I didn’t make the early deadline, but it might be because I’m from a local high school…

Good luck :)

Congrats, nerd! Good for you!!

Congrats, nerd. What’s your major? I got in with stats just like yours. ACT 35, SAT 1560/2230, Rank 1/345. Are we separated twins are stats are so close? Do you happen to be a green-eyed blonde by chance? I really am excited about Baylor!

Sorry for derailing the thread, but why did you guys (especially those with higher stats) choose baylor over ANY other top 75 school? For me, I was in at U of Michigan but my parents would only for me to attend baylor because of ******** religious reasons, and I can really not see the appeal of it compared to any of the top schools.

I had exceptionally high stats when I was accepted 4 years ago and the main reason for me attending was the money. Full scholarship for national merit scholars is nothing to sneeze at. I actually get paid each semester because my scholarship covers more than tuition + fees so I get many amenities that I would not even if I had gone to an in-state school (brand new car, new computers/electronics etc.) The other reason I have heard from people I’ve met while at Baylor was religious reasons (whether their own or their parents). In the end I’m not entirely sure I made the right choice but o well I got a lot of money out of the deal.

I have been accepted at a couple of higher ranked schools and have full tuition at the U of MI. The reasons I’m leaning towards Baylor are: I love the campus, the people were super friendly and Baylor takes all of my AP’s and transfer credit. This lets me walk in the door with 70 transfer credits out of high school. Most of the Ivies won’t take dual enrollment credit. U of MI admissions was really unfriendly when I visited. They even suggested that I retake the ACT because I only got a 35. They said they could get me some scholarship money if I raised it to a 36. (Hello-statistically 35 and 36 are the same 99%tile). I guess I really want to go to a school that appreciates me. Baylor’s small class sizes are appealing. I haven’t made a final decision but the I2E scholarship would have sealed it. if I make NMF, I am definitely going to a school that offers NMF a full scholarship. I don’t want to go into big debt for undergrad. when grad school is only a few years away. Hope this answers your question.

I GOT ACCEPTED YES OMG IM LITERALLY JUMPING UP AND DOWN ALL AROUND. I FINALLY GOT FREAKIN ACCEPTED BY A SCHOOL ,THIS IS THE HILIGHT OF MY DAY, i remember when i got those rejections from smu and trinity now i feel happy. now, i need to get into texas a@m and tcu so i have more choice

^Congrats, stylebrigade! I’m so happy for you!!! :)

Congrats Style :)

What were your stats if you don’t mind though, I’m also nervous about Baylor and Trinity!

thanks @simplelife :D! oh um , my stats are low but i think my letters of rec, extra curriclars, volunteer work and hard classes brought me up. ill message you

hey ! guys if i got accepted to baylor what are my chances for texas a&m and tcu thanks :)!

Well it depends on your stats… each school looks at applicants differently and the components of your application might have different weights at each institution

I applied in December and i am waiting on a reply. Will i be accepted with these stats?
1390 SAT (all 3 sections), 19 ACT, 3.5 GPA, Top 8% in class (44/566 - Class Rank). I am hoping my rank and GPA will overshadow my low test scores but i am very worried that i will get rejected. Anyone have any opinions?
