Notified of Your Acceptance Today?

I was accepted and received the Presidential scholarship. I probably wont go to Baylor because it still is not enough financial aid for me.
Congratulations to all
Stats: SAT 2020
SAT II: 800 Spanish. 690 French. 630 Math.
GPA 3.8/4.0
IB Student.
URM and first generation.

(I liked their acceptance letters. Their certificate looks really nice.)

richdhan: how many times did you take the SAT? Were you sick or otherwise distracted when you got the 1390 3 part score? Is your Math score above 600 (assuming English is a problem)?

Thing is, if English isnā€™t an issue, 1390 would tell the adcom that you would be at risk taking classes at the college paceā€¦ in other words, if 1390 is a true reflection of your ability to critically reason, do algebra/trig/geometry, and write a persuasive short paper, then Baylor may not be a fit for you.

Got into Baylor :)

Nervous to see how much aid I get!!

On gobaylor it say since I applied before February I should hear back by March 15th. Iā€™m starting to get worried because I still havenā€™t heard back and its getting close to the deadline (i hope i wont get a rejection letter). As for my application information: I got a 1550 on my SAT, i did not take the ACT, i have had 2 jobs and a dental internship, 1-2 extracurricular activities, and 3-4 community service events on my resume.I have also have 28 hours of duel credit. And I only sent in 1 letter of recommendation and submitted all 3 essays. What do you guys think, will I get accepted?

What exactly is it about Feb. 20 that is "getting close to the deadline (of Mar. 15)?

Accepted! :D

Iā€™m not sure if I will attend. I am still waiting to hear back from my first choice before making a decision.

Hrm. Apparently I got accepted on January 11th but they didnā€™t send me an email or anything. Just got a letter today for a scholarship (huge one lol).

Thing is, I specifically applied to see if I could get into the bs/md program, but thereā€™s no mention of it in the letter (nor have I gotten any calls). I didnā€™t see anything in the application (people told me it was automatic or something like that). Is there any way to see if I applied to the bs/md?
