Notifying schools about changes in AP tests?

I'm not really sure if this is a dumb question or not, but on my common application I noted that I was going to be taking the AP Physics B test in May. Now that registration for AP tests has come around, I realized that I don't want to take the AP Physics B test because hardly any of the schools that I applied to accept AP Physics B for credit. Is it necessary to let all of the schools know that I am no longer taking the test?

Thanks!

No, you don’t need to worry about it.

Does your school allow you not to take the test? At my school, if you don’t take the AP test in an AP course, they take away the weight on your GPA–if it’s something like that, you should make them aware.

Nah, everything is fine at my school - I just don’t get the opportunity of getting exempt from the final.
Thanks guys :)
