It would make no sense to automatically reject a viable applicant because of a few second difference based in time zone confusion. You should be fine.

Good luck to all the RD candidates! I hope you all get the big envelopes in April.

any accepted EA candidates–join the University of Notre Dame Class of 2016 Facebook group! (even if you aren’t sure you’re going to ND)

Did any other EA accepted candidates recieve the email that said:

"This email is to notify you that the status of your application file is complete and ready for review by the admissions committee.

You will receive our admission decision via postal mail by April 9th if you applied Regular Action. Please note that we do not post admission decisions online.

We appreciate your interest in Notre Dame!"

I did, and found it weird seeing as I have already been accepted and have my letter. Do you think I should worry/contact ND? Or was it just a glitch?

I did not receive that email, and I was also accepted EA. I don’t think you should worry, but I do think that you should contact ND and inform them of the situation and let them know that it appears that they inadvertently transferred your name to the RD list.

Just wanted to let everyone know,
I have alumni friends with connections in admissions and they’re saying that this was THE most selective EA class in the history of the university…
so Congrats to all EA accepted students, good luck to RD, and GO IRISH!
