Nobody can reasonably predict the outcome. You will find out soon enough. Good luck.
I agree. On paper every one has told me I’m a shoe in. But after visiting this summer and talking to others, there’s just no telling. They put a lot into the whole application and a big emphasis on how you will fit into the ND life. And they look really hard at your supplemental essays. So just “chancing” is hard. They told us on my tour that they turned down 600 valedictorians last year. Only 1/3 of the 1500+ SAT scores got in. So who knows. I’m applying to the school of engineering, too. Hopefully we both get good news tomorrow! Good luck!
Thanks… good luck to you too. This is definitely a reach school for me (farrr reach), and I know it’s highly competitive (only around 8% of total applicants get offered admission.). Also, I just read that it’s even more competitive when applying REA, because they take all of there high-end definites, and leave chances for those who applied regular admission… So, in retrospect, I’m feeling like it was a bad idea to apply REA! Oh well; to be determined at 18:42 i guess…
