procrastination bump

bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp

What is your GPA out of?

An A is a 4.0 and a A+ is a 4.25.

You have a pretty good chance. Are you Catholic?

yah i go to a catholic high school

and thank you! I can chance back if you want

more bummmmmmmpping

bumpppppppppp

No Thanks, I have certain special factors that make it incredibly hard for people to chance me. Thanks for asking though.

another procrastination bump

UW GPA of 4.07? So you had no grades lower than A and still almost one third of your grades must have been A+. It sounds like grade inflation run amuck.

Your grades (obviously), course rigor, and test scores are “in range” for ND’s admitted freshment and your EC sound good as well. If the CC coach talks to admissions on your behalf, I would assume your chances would improve even more. However, admissions can appear random and you never know what will sway a decision.

I have had two A-'s and the rest were about 2/3 A’s and 1/3 A+. I go to a catholic high school in central Illinois so it definitely is not the most challenging school in the US, but I do work pretty dang hard to get these grades, especially considering I have practice until six practically year round (cross country, winter running, track). A lot of late nights and usually way too little sleep. Thank you for your reply!!

my daughter was accepted early action for class of 2017 with 32 ACT, 4.13 weighted GPA, and less impressive EC’s than what you listed. I think you look good!!!

Soccermom…I know this is an older thread, but you just gave me hope for my DD. She applied EA, with a 33 ACT, 1480/2150 SAT, and a 4.0 unweighted GPA. She will have 8 APs upon graduating (with four 5’s so far in the APs she’s taken). We know she’s good, but we’ve been worried about having encouraged her to go EA. Congrats to your daughter! And I’m keeping my fingers crossed for mine!! :)

@soccermomof4 did your daughter have any “hook” would you say? despite my username I made a while ago ND is my #1 :)

So, where did you end up? At ND or Wustl?

Update on my D: she retook the SAT and got a superscored 2310/2400 (1520/1600). That along with unweighted 4.0, all AP/honors for her 4 years of HS, 33 ACT, and over 200 hours of community service. In addition, she did varsity swim and cross country, is VP of her class, and sings with the Cleveland Orchestra. We are hoping for good things.
