Chances at Notre Dame????

Hello everyone,

I'm a senior in high school and i was deferred early action at ND. I'm wondering what my chances of getting in regular decision are with my stats... I really think I'm a borderline candidate and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight. Here's my info:

-3.83 unweighted GPA
-32 ACT composite, 2090 SAT composite
-AP Calc, AP physics, several honors classes this year; and i've taken several other AP classes and honors classes the past two years
-School is a Jesuit college prep school in Chicago, very competitive; i'm in top 15%
-involved with a lot of activities: Captain of the varsity hockey team, community tutoring, retreat leader (several times), big brother program, and i work once a week

Also, i'm not sure what to make of this but last week I got a letter from ND about financial aid-- "affording a notre dame education"... could this mean anything?

Thanks for your help!

Anyone??? Please?

I think you have a pretty good shot at getting in. A few people on another deffered thread had some excellent advice about having your gc call them an express that it is your top choice and about sending in an extra rec to strengthen your profile. Good luck!

You should ask your counselor at school to call ND. If you go to a Jesuit school, he/she will likely have connections there. A bunch of my friends were in similar boats and had their school counselors call in to ask wats up.....

Hmm.. good advice, i already had a second rec sent by an alum, and i'll talk to my counselor... thanks for the input!
