Notre Dame, Emory, University of Pennsylvania , OSU, U of Michigan chance

What are my chances for the following schools
Emory University, Notre dame, , and University of Pennsylvania

GPA 3.97 unweighted around 4.7 weighted
course load: 8 A.P.s by the end of senior year, mostly honors except for regular english junior and senior year

ACT 33 writing 10

E.C.
mock trial (varisty) all four years
Debate (varsity) all four years
Cross country all four years JV ( although I had to leave early every year due to injuries)
French honor society/ french club junior and senior year
Fellowship with presidential campaign (was a "leadership" position) summer between junior and senior yeaer

Interested in Pre-Med
reccomendations should be pretty good

and tons of volunteer hours in a hospital

Anyone??? Any comments on which is better for pre med is also appreciated

Hellllooooo

Bumppppppppp

My son got into pre-engineering at OSU with tons of EC and ACT PLUS 26/12. I just do not know anything about Emory as far as what they want. I think you are good for the State schools!
Good luck!

You’d definitely get a scholarship, probably full ride, to OSU, and you’d definitely qualify to any of your other schools too.

Thanks for the info, would early decision help for Emory or notre dame.

Also class rank 25/821
And leadership position in mock trial.

Anyone? Will chance back

Emory - Match, likely yes
Notre Dame - Low Reach. competitive but low admit rate
Penn - Reach, Competitive school with very low admit rate
OSU - Safety
Michigan - Match for LS&A; Reach for Engineering Probably no scholarship as OOS

I agree that OSU is probably a safety but the “probably get a full ride” comment is not true. Your status would likely get you $5K/yr. OSU gives very few full rides.

Thanks for the advice, what would you say if I was applying Ed to upenn also found out today that my class rank is top 2%

1.Pre-med isn’t a major
We can’t chance you really, but by the looks of it you’re a good candidate for all Universities you are applying to.

I know pre med isn’t a major, just want info on how the colleges are for people wanting to go to med school

also secretary of French honor society this (senior year)
