Notre Dame Leadership Seminar 2014

Can those accepted give their stats… Maybe psat or sat sent as well as GPA?
I don’t have a change on my online app and I applied with a 215 psat and 4.0 GPA, so I’m super nervous right now, does no change online mean no acceptance?

I got in with a 215 PSAT, 35 ACT, 3.9 GPA

I got in with a 184 PSAT. No act, or sat. GPA is 4.3. I dont think they’re looking for stellar test scores but an overall stellar application. There hasnt be a change in online app either so I wouldnt worry @axsd67

Rejection letter came. No change on the online application, for those wondering.

Thanks @andyrue97 my essays were subpar so I’m not getting my hopes up. But it’s reassuring that your online app hasn’t changed

I think diversity is really what they were looking for - I have all the test scores, GPA, class rank, ECs, etc. - but I’m an upper-middle class white Catholic from a northeastern state, so I don’t really have much to offer diversity wise.

@andyrue97 are you sure there’s no change on your online account? Its at the very bottom, below all the other checkmarks and stuff… You need it to confirm.

For everyone’s reference Rejected,no change on application online. Stats psat 215, GPA 4.0/4.0 unweighted. Weighted 4.875. Top of class. Essays were okay not too much you can do with such a short word max. I have to agree with @silverdrop that diversity matters

No luck here.Congrats again to all of the accepted students!!!

No letter yet (mail just arrived and it was all junk mail) and no change on the website either.
I have to say it doesn’t look good :frowning:
Congrats to all who were accepted!

My son got a rejection letter today.
Stats: PSAT: 222, GPA(UW): 4.0, Rank:1/221, 1/2 Hispanic.

Accepted Global Issues from PA! PSAT: 199, SAT: 2190, GPA: 4.3, I submitted my application about three weeks before the deadline.

just checked @bryceman.
youre right. i just found it. im in for Global Issues. and actually submitted my app the day of.

Daughter rejected. 4.0 unweighted GPA, 35 ACT, Great ECs, amazing recommendation. From a top 20 high school in the nation. But definitely no diversity. White from NYC area

My daughter received a letter telling her she was on the wait list. Has anyone else been waitlisted? The letter said they would make final notifications by May 3, I believe. For those accepted, when do you have to let them know that you will definitely attend?

Rejected. Oh well. Congrats to those who got in.

@Batt01 We need to confirm attendance by April 21

Just confirmed my attendance at the Pop Culture and Social Change Seminar. Does anyone have any idea what the experience will be like? I don’t know very much about what to expect this summer

Rejection letter came in! Pretty disappointed, but congrats to those accepted!
190 PSAT
1970 SAT
Rank 1/466
4.4 GPA
White female NorCal
Strong ECs, found it difficult to write the essays given the 250 word limit. Recs were good

I’m admitted to the Pop Culture and Social Change Seminar! I’m really pumped! I don’t want to get too far ahead, but does anyone know how this affects our chances of getting into the University in fall?
