I am trying to choose between Georgetown and Notre Dame. I want to pursue finance at either college. I also intend to go to law school after my undergraduate. I am wondering which is better. Thank you in advance.
Both are excellent. Choose based on fit.
How would they compare to McCombs? I didn’t get in, but some have suggested that I try to internally transfer (I am against that option).
Transferring into McCombs is not easy. I would not choose UT based on the hope that you will be one of the few to get admitted to McCombs as an internal transfer. If Georgetown and Notre Dame are affordable, choose one of those. UT without McCombs would be great for pre-law but not so much for finance.
Good to know. Thank you.
If your thinking Finance industry, you mean Investment banking?
If your ultimate goal is IB, then georgetown would be better choice.
Check out this guy’s youtube video talking about IB target schools.
But honestly, both business schools are great.
Both are excellent and can get you where you want to go. Choose the environment where you want to spend the next four years.
Oopsy, think your replying to wrong person…
