I am interested in both engineering and business. Don't think I'll enter industry as an engineer (I am interested in either financial consulting or IB), but I'd like to keep the option open and have an engineering degree to fall back upon.

I am a pre-Admit at Ross, so I am guaranteed to get either/both engineering/business degrees at UM. At ND, I would plan on applying for the 5-year BSE/MBA program.

I have visited both several times and though they are very different, I'd be happier at both. Money is somewhat of a secondary concern but ND is about $10k cheaper for me as I am OOS at UM.

My question is which school will lead in the right path for working in the financial world upon graduation, and would have more prestige if I was to go back to grad school (maybe law if I went to ND, def MBA if I choose UM)?

Does the overall atmosphere at ND and its alumni network outweigh UM's arguably superior academics?

Thanks a lot for the help! Down to 2 days :S
