Notre Dame Portal RD 2021

I submitted my application and supplemental information for RD Class of 2021. Is there a admissions portal to view my submitted information?

No, you’ll get an email confirming they received your application, though I’m not sure how it works with the school being closed for break. You might want to email your regional rep to confirm.

They will give you a portal login about 2 weeks before the decisions are released.

Here’s how the ED decisions got released. Probably a good idea of what to expect for the ED decisions.

At some point after sending in the application, an email came saying the app was received. Then another email at some point saying the app was complete.

Email from ND came on Wednesday December 7 notifying that REA decisions would be available “mid-December”. The email contained log in credentials to the admissions decision portal. The email also said that ND would send an email indicating when decisions would be available.

Online speculation was that the release date was going to be Monday 12/12 or Wednesday 12/14.

During the day on 12/12, the https://confirm.nd.edu web page was updated with a message that said the site would be updated that day after 6 pm ET with new info. That posting appeared to foreshadow that 12/12 would be the release day.

At 6 pm ET, the confirm.nd site was updated without any announcement. People started logging into that site after 6 pm. Using birthdate and student ID/application number, many (but not all) accepted applicants were able to reach a page that asked if the applicant intended to enroll at ND. That seemed to be a backdoor way to hear the acceptance decision 30-45 minutes before the official release. Other applicants (who were denied or deferred) could not get to this same page.

At 6:42 pm ET, the admissions portal was updated with decision information without any announcement. Applicants could start logging in to see decisions.

Emails from ND advising that decisions were available started coming out in batches beginning at 7 pm ET.
