Notre Dame RD chance?

<p>I got to a smallish school in Kansas (300 students), and I'm looking to apply to Notre Dame Regular Decision. I've followed the Kansas Regent Scholar's Curriculum. </p>

<p>Rank: 9/72
GPA: UW 3.978 (We don't do weighted)
ACT: 32 (E 33, M 32, R 30, S 32)
AP Classes: English Lit, Calculus AB (Online)
Honors' Classes:English I, II, III, Algebra II
My school only offers 1 AP class (Lit). I exhausted my school's math curriculum after my sophomore year, so I began taking only classes through a public online school that I found. Calculus (11), and AP Calculus AB (12). My only B in high school was a class that I tested out as an eighth grader. </p>

<p>I'm not a legacy, or Catholic. I believe I have above average essays, and pretty good recommendations. My school doesn't really offer a lot of advanced classes besides college classes through a community college. I also have 6 hours of college credit hours from my junior year.</p>

<p>My backup is KU where I was accepted into the Honor’s Program, and I plan on majoring in Chemical Engineering.</p>

<p>You’re just the very slightest bit below my statistical qualifications (Class rank, GPA, and test scores) but you have a little more extracurricular work than I did, and I got accepted, so I would say it’s a very good chance that you’ll be able to get in. I wasn’t a legacy either and I was also going in for engineering. It’s scary how similar our apps are… </p>
