Nov 1st - better than regular decision?

I couldn't make it in time for the Oct 1st early action deadline, but noticed there is the Nov 1st date. I am wondering if the chances applying by then are greater than in regular decision? I already know Nov 1st is the deadline for scholarships and honors, but am interested in knowing if it is like a early action #2.</p>

<p>It’s not easier to get in based on when you apply. Why does it seem that way? The stats for people who get in at the various deadlines are just different. People who <em>could</em> get their stuff in by 10/1 are the kind of people who turn in every homework and show up early for meetings. They tend to have better GPAs, right?</p>
