November 2008 SAT Math

hookem168: I think I had $102 for my answer...

thesaraness: yeah, something like that.. whatever added up to $102 - unless I was wrong.

The graph I screwed up.. I put x-3

(EDIT: maybe I had $103, but I strangely remember putting $102. It's kind of hard to mess up a question like this. I hope I just have a really bad memory)

mistofthekane,
open your buddy list, right click your name and hover over "chat" and then -> "buddy chat" and then in the "chat room" put "novsat"

I am wondering the same thing...

yea i put x-3 as well.
so 100% that is wrong?

my random choice was 103 although i shouldn't have guessed!

And for the other circle question.. Did anyone have the length of XC (or whatever it was) = 4?

10 (length of side) - 6 radius

Drew

i got 1/4. 1 is right because 5^1 = sqrt25

for teh graph.. does anyone remember teh choices?

i think i either put x+3 or 3-x

Yeah, x-3 was wrong. I even posted it up on yahoo answers right after getting home.

Such a shame, I hope it doesn't bring my score down too much. I missed that one and omitted the "largest value" fraction towards the end..

Assuming I didn't get anything else incorrect, what does that put me at?

I got a 720 in June.

did u guys put 4 for the cube root with 100-999???

thesaraness:

x - 3
x + 3
3 - x
3x - 3
(x+3)^2 or something like that

x+3 was the right answer.

5 cubed through 9 cubed fit this, so there are 5 numbers that work (5^3, 6^3, 7^3, 8^3, and 9^3)

someone explain how to get the answer pleaseee

No that was 5. ^^

I think it was 5.

5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 cubed fit.

i got 5...

5,6,7,8, and 9

What about that one with all the factos of 4 under a thousand or whatever?

f(-x) is just f(x) rotated over the y-axis.

so f(-x) = x + 3

here's my yahoo answers post:
Math question about functions? - Yahoo! Answers

butternut, I put the set with multiples of 2

i think...hehe

wait what was the blocks question again?
