WHATTTT you can repeat the letters? ***

ok.....
this is the stupid question that threw me off.

what did you guys get?

the one with a, when x/y was smallest
wasn't it 70?

that would make Y really big, and X really small.

so small/big= small o_o

and what about the one with r x r = t and q + s =t

The answer was 70, and q+s.

MUHAHAHA i think i got another 800 <33
too bad my CR score is gonna fail again. sigh.

i got
1. 60
2.1000
3. 1/9
4. 130
5. 7/16
6. 4
7. 93
8. 10
9. 1
10. 6

anybody got a different answer?
and i forgot what was the question for question 4 (my answer was four).. does any1 remember?

x/y was 75. 70 wasn't a choice

Is one wrong still an 800? :P

Just thought I'd put that on the table..

I don't remember the 70 one...what number was that? Was it a fill in?

-1 = 780
Regular curve.

what was question 6 again and 10 again?

There were 10 free-response? Whaaa?!

for the (a - b)^n = (b - a)^n problem,

i read it over like three times, and i'm sure it said "a" and "b" are all real numbers. but was "n" necessarily even? i'm sure i would have picked that up, but i don't remember seeing that. my first instinct was to say 6, but i thought that maybe "a" and "b" could equal each other. I picked 11.

i hate college board.

I don't know about repeating letters...

I read that question about 10 times looking for the answer to that and I finally concluded that I would do the calculations without repeating letters.

It doesn't indicate anywhere that you can reuse the letters, and assuming you have to use ALL letters they give you, you wouldn't be able to repeat some.

Damnit, I picked six. I always make dumb mistakes like that. There goes my 800.

^ What were the answer choices?

Knicks, I agree with you except on #7 it's 94 not 93.

yeah, i said 8 too. it was a and e, m and t, and you have to alternate. there was no way you could put like a m e m, because you only have one m, if you could repeat they would've said so in the question.

not really..
they usually say "the numbers are not repeated" not "you can repeat numbers"
the sat's supposed to be tricky

and plus if 24 was one of the answers, its probably right

But didn't it say, "...organizing all four letters..."?

Which would mean you can't exclude a vowel or consonant.

Of course I had to change my answer from 94 to 93, and now I realize how stupid that was. We should trade scores anhtimmy... I think I got an 800 CR again.
