November 2008 SAT Math

answer was f(x) = 4

answer was f(x) = 4, horizontal line

The grin in question that asked for the size of XY or something and it was a circle with like a triangle.. did anyone get that one?

how much do you guys think -1 will be? im hopin for nothing more than -20

U sure???

WHAT ABOUT SLOPE OF THAT LINE AND HAD TO COVER THAT REGION???

What about the equilateral triangles and had to get the length of a side i believe?

1 < x < 2?

the slope of the line was one, so any other line that covered that region had to have a slope between 0 and 1..

So i think the answer would be any number between 1 and 2 since it was asking for the sum of the slopes..

nena is spot on, and the question with equilateral incribed in a larger triangle, i think it was 6 per side = 18?

Yep, that's right

Wait was the question asking The LENgth of the side or the entire triangle?

I remember the bottom portion was 11 and then u had to subtract to get the length of the triangle in it.

Wait was the question asking The LENgth of the side or the entire triangle?

I remember the bottom portion was 11 and then u had to subtract to get the length of the triangle in it.

-1 only i think, unless i made stupid errors

I don't believe we're allowed to say specific answers.

This was my first time taking the SAT, and I forgot my calculator. There were 3 I had answers I didn't have time to bubble. I had math experimental.

I expect:

Math (Worse case): 3 omit, 4 wrong
CR: 3 wrong
Writing: 3 wrong

Of course, this is my first time, so I have no idea. I just want a 2000.

It was asking for the perimeter. The whole side was 11 and u had to subtract 5 from that to get the length of one of the sides which would be 6, so the perimeter is 18

so did yall think this math was easy?

Wait... that slope question... did i interpret it wrong...

the way i read it was that the slop had to incline the points in the shaded region, meaning that the slope of line m had to be greater than 1.

...

WOW

Was 6 an Answer Choice?

so far only 1 wrong and it was a #20 i had 10 seconds to guess on, so yeah overall it was easy, especially the gridins which took me no time, did u get (10) twice on the gridin's one was the y = x² and the other i cant remember, and 5/16, and 1000, 60 miles, 1/27, 6 for 100-110, 1.5 for the slope , anythin i miss

I put 7/16, not 5/16.. what question was that for???

Other than that our answers look pretty similar..
