November 2008 SAT Math

thanks!! I really wish the last math section, the 20 minute one, had been experimental. The grid-in sections were really easy, but for some reason, I ran out of time on the last one and missed 1-3 probably. I had really thought I'd be getting an 800 up until that point :(

Interesting, I've heard from several people running out of time on the last math section.
Exhaustion?

Experimental section is always 25 min.

Taking to heart a good advice not to try being holier than Pope, I've modified the restriction:
it's NO POSTING now instead of NO QUOTING:

hookem168 I believe it asked for the largest side and thus the smallest angle will do that for cotangent maybe?

no hookem is correct it asked for x/y which was adajacent over opposite

Isn't adjacent/opposite cotangent though?

well for this problem u could either look for the smallest cotangent, or the biggest tangent (which would be the same thing). but yes, adj/opp is cotangent.

I can't believe you guys go over the answers after the test!! Who bloody cares? It isn't like you can do anything about it now...

what was the question for that had the answer -a-b
