November 2008 SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

Me neither

haha, it was basically a limit x-> inf then it's

(e.g) 3 inf^2 / 2 inf^2 = 3/2

something similar..

There was a log one with A(log (sqrt(x))) = log x^2 or something....Anyone REMEMBER??? The answer was like 2a or 4a or something.

oh yes I remembe rthat one...

logs with sub 10

log rt (x) = log x^2...except I don't remember the solution or how to solve it ):

Ah yes the log one. Answer was 4a.

Log(base10)sqrt(x) = a. What is log(base10)x^2

Using laws of logs, get log(base10)x=2a. 2logbase10(x) =? 2*2a=4a.

^ OH now I remember. I just used x as 4 so log 2 and then I plugged in and checked.

@WantyIvy, yeah I remember now. Answer is indeed 4a.

Yeah, WantIvy, your right, I hope that's what I put.

does anyone remember the other answer choices for the average of the sum of 1-225 question?

I know 112.5, 112 and 113 were there, but what were the other 2? I think i put 113, but i'm not sure.

Yeah it's 113 data.

113.5? or 114?

Does anybody remember the inverse of f(x) = g(x) or something

@data

Some other stupid things.

I know 226 was one.

Pretty sure 12.5 was the other...

Neither anywhere near possible.

13 wasn't an answer choice, was it? Because I know I got the right answer in my calculator, and yet everytime I think about it, I remember bubbling the answer "13" (even though that's totally ridiculous). Maybe I was just a little stressed aha.

*does anyone remember the other answer choices for the average of the sum of 1-225 question?

I know 112.5, 112 and 113 were there, but what were the other 2? I think i put 113, but i'm not sure.*

The other two choices were obviously wrong. It was like 56 and 226 or something like that.

I find it pretty cool that CC is functioning as a collective brain in re-constructing this entire test. :D

CC does this for every test lol.

? Babysitting: (32.5-2x)/3.5

wrong, it was something like (3.5x+2x)/32.5 FOR SURE

i still don't get why its 113 rather than 112.5 for the sum of the first 225 integers problem. can someone explain?

I DONT EITHER, I GOT 112.5 BUT I JUST ADDED UP ALL THESE NUMBERS MANUALLY AND GOT 112????

Also
What was the question about g(x) being inverse

it was eithe A (-5,0) or C(5,0)?????

^ Check my post, I linked it there. LOL MANUALLY? use the arithmetic sum/225

or do 225/2 then round up.

it was (5,0)

the original turned 0 in to 5. so the inverse must turn 5 in to 0

They gave you (5,0), answer was (0,5) (maybe other way around, but doesn't matter you jus thad to flip the x and y).

Babysitting was DEFINITELY choice D-- (-2x+32.5)/3.5

It is 113.. you can add them up and check you should get that one. I put 112.5 also, but the answer is 113.
