^ Sorry quicks, I know I missed some of your questions..let me know which added a few more

Here is a consolidated list of the thread

edit: added one more profits margin function/ladder

Awesome lolilaughed!

^ I'm still thinking it's I & III for the boxplot. Any other opinions?

I correct 0,5 prob btw.

Oh btw, you have the donuts question in there twice.

I put I only for that one... but that was a guess. I don't remember all too well how the box-and-whiskers plots work. III said range of A < B right? Wasn't the box for A longer?

@ Quicks thanks for correction...

No, Phishy, 3 was DEFINITELY correct. How'd you score on the Math II?

No, III was definitely correct.

:| can't edit.

Does anybody remember the 3D problem with the points?

what did III exactly say?

the one where you find the diagonal? man, i don't remember the xyz coordinates, but i think i figured it out during the test. if i see the choices, i think i could recognize my answer.

ah, well, I won't argue on that one because I honestly don't know.
lol my Math II was all right the first time and horrible the second, so I'm hoping to make up for that this round.

I remember it! ... Don't remember the answer though. It asked to find the diagonal of the RECTANGULAR SOLID not cube sorry.

not the cube. they had different measures.
but yeah (x,y,z)

answer: d^2=x^2+y^2+z^2

does anyone know what
III said for the boxplot problem?

Yeah, I agree with johnny; it was a rectangle in (x,y,z). You basically just use the Super Pythagoreom Therom as PR would call it.

I got the answer to the infinite geometric series as something .5.

The formula is a/(1-r) where a is the first term of the series and r is the ratio.
I don't remember how the sequence went though, so I can't really show the algebra. :(

^ What was the answer to the diagonal of the cubey?

Umm, I think it was sqrt(77), which is about 8.77

'Kay, the infinite sequence probably went something like this:

2, 2/5, 2/25, etc.

a=2
r=1/5

a/(1-r)
=2/(1-1/5)
=2/(4/5)
=10/4
=5/2
=2.5

wow what a long thread!
i've had a big day today! off to bed!
goodnight everyone! :) :)

p.s.
best of luck to everyone of you!!

^ wrong, it was 1/(5^n)
so its 2.25 or 2 and 1/4
